We did it, thanks to you and thanks to your response to our last-minute calls to amp up the contributions. We beat Kerry's single-day fund-raising record of $5.7 million by raising over $6 million for Dr. Paul by midnight ET.
We have spoken loudly and they will listen to us far more closely from here on out, rest assured.
Thank you and congratulations to you, too. For this is your victory. A true victory for the people.
There will be other funding appeals, I am sure, but these were the two big ones - the ones that will determine how Dr. Paul positions himself for the upcoming Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary. To sweep on to other primaries and win this whole thing, Dr. Paul realistically needs to take at least New Hampshire.
We collected precisely 50% more than on Nov 5th and with a huge new batch of first-time givers.
We have done our part. Now it is up to Dr. Paul and the voters of Iowa and New Hampshire.
